We look forward to you joining us in our journey to learn about others, the challenges that arise and the courses taken to overcome and conquer. Perseverance is in our nature and sometimes you just need an outlet and a friend to nudge and say, "You got this!"

Our Mission Statement

To bring people of all abilities together to support, inspire and respect each other & our unique gifts to the world while providing opportunities that foster a positive mindset & a higher quality of life for people with disabilities.

Our Philosophy

We believe passionately that each of us have more potential and capabilities than we give ourselves credit for. Through our outings & activities, we endeavor to assist others in seeing their potential and helping them to decide to not just exist, but to live life!

POWER, Inc. events are always free! We are in a transition at this time and will not be hosting as many events as we have in the past. Please keep us in your prayers and keep watching for new updates.

Bowling  •  Family Day at the Park  •  Kayaks & Cook Out

Our goal has always been to include all individuals interested and ready to experience life with peers. In other words, we are INCLUSIVE in welcoming the person first, disability second! Those served may have spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, spina bifida, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, autism, hearing or visual impairment, neuromuscular disease, or a number of other conditions, seen and unseen.

Adversity has the effect of eliciting talents, which in prosperous circumstances would have lain dormant.

Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired, and success achieved.

~Helen Keller

"It's not in everyone's blood to ride down a 10 ft. ramp or drop into a half pipe on a wheelchair as it is for my son, but it is within us to be with people we can relate to; to know you are not alone and to learn from each other. Camping, fishing, kayaking, basketball, water skiing: the opportunities are endless. Doing sports & activities with other wheelers has boosted my son's self esteem and shown him that there is nothing in this world that he can't conquer."

~Amber Tinsley speaking of her son, Connor who happens to have spina bifida.
