TJC "Planetarium" Field Trip

The state-of-the-art Planetarium at the Center for Earth and Space Science Education at Tyler Junior College features an immersive, full-dome video experience. The theater is wheelchair friendly and offers seating accessible to transfer out of your w/c if preferred. 

Our activities are always free for people with a disability. POWER, Inc. will cover the ticket cost(s) for you and up to 2 guests for a show or two (or more, shows of your choosing) on Saturday, July 21. You are welcome to meet us before the first show at 10:30am in the lobby. Sign in upon arrival to receive your day pass. Beginning at 11:00am we will be attending SpacePark 360 - a 9-ride show that takes audiences on a wild immersive ride through the Solar System while recreating the experience of amusement park thrill rides--roller coasters, pendulums, inverters and more.

The 12:00pm show will be National Parks Adventure - A MacGillivray Freeman film narrated by Robert Redford.

1:00pm offers Dream Big: Engineering Our World. Witness how today's engineers are shaping the world of tomorrow while on a journey of discovery from the world's tallest building to a bridge higher than the clouds and a solar car race across Australia.
